 Review, Swiftech H202-C watercooler
By: Sverre Sjøthun, March 16, 2002  Print this article

Second leg in our watercooler pentathlon features a brand new kit from Swiftech, the Swiftech H202-C. This kit comes with their MCW462-U waterblock, and should provide quite a performace boost over their old model, the MCW462

Very few companies have earned so much respect and awards for their cooling products as Swiftech, so it was with great anticipation I received their brand new H202-C watercooling kit. But before we go on with the testing, let’s have a look at what’s included in this kit:

- Ultra-slim multichannel radiator, 279x149x19mm (HxWxD)
- MCW462-U water-block
- Eheim 1048 (600LPH)
- Pump relay switch kit
- 2 x 120mm fans
- Fill & bleed kit
- A variety of nuts, bolts and thermal compund

First impressions

What first caught my eye with this kit is the waterblock. Not only is it huge and is built like a tank – the finish is really top notch. The whole block is one masterpiece of CNC machined metal and the blue anodized aluminum contrasts the copper base in a very nice way, not to mention that the base of the block is lapped to perfection. The kit contained a pump relay switch that powers up the pump when you power up your computer. Very nice.
